We, HKK Bionics GmbH, are a multi-award-winning MedTech start-up from Ulm. With the exomotion® hand one, we have developed the first motorized hand orthosis of its kind, which allows completely paralyzed hands to grasp again. We are looking for a full-time design engineer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible at the Michelsberg site in Ulm.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaboration in the development of state-of-the-art orthotic systems
• Focus on the areas of design and, if necessary, usability
• Co-creation of technical documentation
• Carrying out system and component tests

Requirements for you

• A completed technical degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, medical technology, lightweight construction or similar qualification)
• Experience in parametric design, basics of FEM & TM
• Creativity and thinking outside the box
• Enjoy professional and personal challenges
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Strong communication skills and sense of humor 😉
